So we attempted to get pictures in the bluebonnets, just like we do every year. 
Unfortunately bees were flying all over the place, 
which meant Elizabeth was able to handle a few pictures, but all the pictures of Ben were him crying! 
Oh well - maybe next year!
We were lucky enough to have my Aunt Amy, Uncle Jim, and their two kids Emma and Evan drive from Minnesota with my Uncle Ross to visit last weekend. On Friday, when Elizabeth was in school, we went to the zoo. I felt bad that Elizabeth couldn't be there with us, but she has missed too much school this year so she wasn't able to come with us. Here is Emma, Cooper, and Ben taking a break from our walk around the zoo.

We all loved watching the mom walking around, holding her baby's hand. It was so sweet! 
I loved seeing all the kids hanging on the fence together. 
After the zoo Evan and Emma went back to my mom's house to take naps. Cooper came home with us to help me get ready for dinner. It was April Fool's Day so the kids helped me make spaghetti cupcakes. 
The family all came over for a taco dinner. 
On Saturday we got to ride on Thomas the Train! We did this a few years ago so the kids were excited to go again.

Elizabeth and Ben's Grandma H. had a momentous birthday last week, so we invited the family over to the house to celebrate. 
The kids all enjoyed helping Grandma blow out the candles over and over again. 
April Fools! 
I also froze their drink with a straw in it - they thought it was very funny!

Elizabeth ran into the playroom after breakfast and made me a pretend breakfast. The funny part was they both really thought that I would be fooled and wouldn't know it was the same play food we have had for 5 years! I pretended to take bites and be upset that it wasn't real, and they totally bought it! Oh, the innocence of youth!
I know, I know, it's a terrible picture! It's the only picture I had of our Daisy Scout garage sale that we had last weekend. We did a fundraiser for our troop in our leader's yard. The girls made baked goods and lemonade to sell. The moms sold all of our stuff!! It was pretty successful, we made $400!

We also went to the zoo and met our friends Joanne, Jay, Jane, Jill, and Jena. It was super cold, but luckily we brought jackets so we were pretty comfortable.

I started making this wreath for Elizabeth's upcoming birthday. I didn't take a finished picture, but I really love the way it turned out. It took SO many balloons though, a lot more than I thought! It's going to be my birthday wreath for the front door any day someone in our family has a birthday. 
I have also been loving my cricut and vinyl. I bought these buckets at Michaels for a $1 - and added the kids names. I'm not sure what we are going to do with them, but I think they're cute!
