At Elizabeth's school they have a very meaningful tradition that takes place on the child's birthday. They are invited to the front of the room during chapel time for a birthday blessing given by the school.

Elizabeth has been so nervous about the birthday blessing. She did not want to get up in front of everyone. She was so scared! She has been talking about it for about 4 months, and she finally got ok with going up in front the week of her birthday. Thank goodness!
Doesn't she look so nervous?!?

The other thing that we did for her birthday was bring cookies. She was so excited to bring treats for everyone! Ben thought he was
so big getting to sit with all the other kids.

Ben decided to borrow Elizabeth's birthday hat - fits him well I would say!

Later in the week Elizabeth got to have a special birthday tea with Grandma B. She was so excited!

She got Bitty Baby twins from Grandma and Grandpa! :)
She also got 2 matching outfits that match her babies. They look so adorable together.
She had a busy, special week for her birthday. Turning 5 is a big deal!

That's a cool school tradition! Glad she's had such a great birthday!
Oh my goodness, she is so cute! I can't believe she got to stand in front of the entire school-and that she did it! I wish I had seen her! :) Cute Ben at E's school, he's going to love zoo school next year.
The party just never stops for this girl :)
Glad she got the courage to make it to the front of the chapel.
