Disney Cruise part 2

We woke up the next morning and the kids thought it was so fun to sit and watch the ocean go by.
Ben slept on the top bunk - he loved it up high!
Elizabeth slept in her bed - but then got sick in the middle of the night!  So she's hanging with daddy in bed.
You can kind of see our room here.  To the right where you can see a door frame is the bathroom.  The bathroom was separated - one for a sink and shower and one with the toilet and another sink.
We had to get a picture out on the edge of the boat - it was so windy!  We were going really fast on the first full day at sea.

After this picture I went right back to the room to change into shorts.  I was so afraid I was going to flash someone with my skirt on!

Belle was in the kid's club reading a story so Elizabeth went with Emma to listen.

Hanging around the ship.

We had our formal dinner night that evening.

After dinner we went to watch the hypnotist.  We had more time for pictures.
My kids were playing with our camera.

The two other guys we were traveling with volunteered to go on stage!   Bobby and Paul are the second and third from the end on the right.
Bobby sat down after a few minutes - it really wasn't working for him - but Paul stayed up the entire time and seemed really hypnotized!  Then we found out when we sat down that he was aware the whole time!  Bummer!!

The next day we were in Key West, Florida.
We didn't sign up for an excursion.  We just decided to walk around Key West and then head back to the ship.

We got back and had a big lunch on the ship.
We ate a lot of pizza, chicken strips and hamburgers for lunch.  The kids loved it!  They had great buffets for the adults when we were in the mood for something a little better :)
Then it was time to take advantage of the pool.

The Mickey slide was a big favorite!

It was pretty crowded but it didn't bother the kids at all.

We had a blast!  More coming soon!

Disney Cruise Part 1

In early October we took a 7 night cruise to Nassau, Bahamas; Key West; and Castaway Cay-the Disney Island.  We went with two families that live in our neighborhood.  They both have children the same ages as Ben and Elizabeth and they always have a good time together.  We have a blast with their parents too so it works out well for us all.  We had such a wonderful time, I would highly recommend a Disney cruise for any families out there!

Here we are about to get on to the ship.

Elizabeth (8) Nick (6) Bridget (8) Emma (8) Brady (8) and Ben (6)
After we got on the boat we started to explore.  The Kids Club had an open house where we could stay and hang out with the kids.  This was the only time the we stayed with the kids in the club so we were glad we got to see all the things the children got to do.

The boys were pretty excited about the Wii - but I don't think they played it too much!
Even the computer terminals were full of Disney characters!
Laura (whose kids are Bridget and Brady), me, and Melanie (who has Emma and Nick)
This is the foyer of the boat.  My pictures don't do it justice.
This is the second kids club area called the Oceanier's Club.  The other Club was called The Lab.

The kids found some fun places to hang out.

The girls are checking out the massive ship.

After checking out the kid's areas we went to the decks.

There was a fun sports area that had ping pong, basketball, soccer, and foosball.  We played here at some point every day.

Once everyone was on board there was a kickoff party.  There was lots of music and dancing!

I love how into it Emma is!

We saw a few dolphins off the side of the boat after we left from Galveston.

We were trying to spot some more dolphins as we were leaving the port.  That's Bobby next to Tom (Bridget and Brady's dad).

We all went to our rooms to clean up and then headed for dinner at the restaurant Parrot Cay.
Cheers!
After every dinner there was a fantastic show.  The kids made up plenty of entertainment while waiting for the show to begin.

After the show we relaxed on the deck for a bit,
before heading to our room for bed.  We had to get a picture of our first towel animal.  We had a busy, wonderful first day!
