Egg Hunt and Egg Decorating

 Our neighborhood had an Easter egg hunt the Saturday before Easter.  The kids had a great time getting their faces painted,

 and getting their picture with a bunny. 

(actually just Elizabeth did those things, Ben didn't want to! :)

 Then it was on to the egg hunt.  There is Ben on the left, running fast to get to those eggs!

 We headed to my parent's house afterwards to swim and decorate Easter eggs. 

It was a great afternoon!

Easter at Ben's School

 Ben's school had an Easter celebration and the parents were invited to attend.  They first got to make a chocolate bunny - with real chocolate!

 I think the tongue was helping him concentrate.

 Then it was on to making a cross collage.

 After our activities the kids ate some treats!

 After all the fun inside the kids headed outside for an egg hunt. 

 Off to hunt!  They had to search for specific eggs - they had to spell HAPPY EASTER  

 It made the egg hunt last a little longer that way. 

What a fun day at school!

Palm Sunday

 After church on Palm Sunday we headed back to my parent's house and took pictures in their backyard. 

 Tom was having a lot of fun watching the photo action go on. 

 Then we headed inside to find our baskets.  (Even Tom, me, Jessica and Ryan got one)

 Now they are examining their Easter baskets.

 Whoo hoo - Silly string was in the basket!

 What a mess!

 After the silly string we headed to a wonderful lunch.  It was a great Palm Sunday!



April Fools!

 The kids woke up to our 2nd annual April Fools Breakfast!   Frozen juice and "ostrich eggs" were on the menu. 

 The kids for sure thought the frozen drinks were the best!

It was a goofy way to start the first day of April!
