We are lucky enough this week of Spring Break to have some cousins from Minnesota come and visit. We went on the train outside of the zoo yesterday - here is Dan and Nick enjoying the ride.
Poor Ben! We were at Elizabeth's soccer practice last night and Ben was having fun running down a hill. This hill is kind of rocky and weedy, and he fell down catching himself with his hands. He stood up and was crying just a little. When I went to pick him up some blood dripped on me so we were searching all over - where could he have hurt himself? Then was noticed the inside of his wrist - he cut it open. It was a short cut but gaping, so off to the ER for stitches. He was so brave - not ONE TEAR! The doctors all said they needed him to show all the big kids how to do it. I thought he would at least cry when all the big men held him down, but nope!
He ended the evening with a popsicle and rubber ducky. He thought it was a great time so I guess that's all that matters!

Watch out, he now knows that popsicles are available at the ER! I am glad he is okay, looks like we was such a big boy.
The train ride looked like a lot of fun too!
Wow Ben, what a great job! I am so impressed you didn't cry at all! You and Cooper are going to have to compare scars.
The train did look like fun!

Seeee... weren't you just saying a few weeks ago that you couldn't believe that Ben never had any stiches or anything... Now you can rest easy ;) Looks like Ben was a very big boy! And he looks so cute in those ER pics!
Ouchie!! You sure have had your "response time" tested lately. Another little boy well taken care of!
